VISTA COMPATIBILITY

The current version (v10) of Documents To Go does not support Windows Vista. This is because Documents To Go relies on Palm Inc.’s Palm Desktop and HotSync software for proper installation and file synchronization. Although the current version of Palm Desktop (v4.1.4e and 4.2) can install under Vista and synchronize PIM data, it has known compatibility issues. Two of these issues prohibit Documents To Go from installing properly and from synchronizing files.

• Palm Install Tool and Palm Quick Install, the desktop applications that let you transfer applications and databases (.prc and .pdb) to your Palm device, are currently not compatible with Windows Vista. * HotSync Manager has to be updated to support 3rd party applications for file synchronization.

Palm Inc. is expecting to launch a new version of Palm Desktop that should fix the above issues. Once that happens, Documents To Go will then be updated to be fully compatible with Vista.
